In April 2022, Selfbuilder + Homemaker surveyed their self-builder readership to discover how many of them were pursuing a ‘low carbon’ build, and also what their challenges have been along the way.
They have once again surveyed self-builders’ opinions and experiences to gain greater insight into the real world of low-carbon self-builds. Some questions are repeated from 2022, and the results have enabled, in part, a direct comparison with the previous year’s data to show where things may be improving or otherwise. They also added in a range of extra questions to reflect the changing landscape, and provide more depth to this year’s Selfbuilder Survey.
The resulting in-depth report provides interesting insights for anyone pursing an energy-efficient build, as we work towards net zero carbon targets.
