Panasonic extends Green Cashback Scheme

Panasonic has extended its Green Cashback Schemes for Aquarea Air-to-Water heat pump projects by three months to 30 June 2021.

The two schemes, one for homeowners and one for installers, provide cashback on qualifying Aquarea installations completed between October 2020 and the end of June 2021 (all claims to be submitted by 31 July 2021).  The Green Install Scheme for installers can provide cashback of £800* – following the successful installation of five Panasonic Aquarea A2W heat pumps with a Smart Cloud Controller.   The consumer scheme for homeowners replacing oil-fired, LPG, electric or mains gas boilers offers up to £600 depending on the size of the air source heat pump (conditions apply).

Tony Nielsen, UK Marketing Manager for Panasonic commented, “We are delighted to announce the extension of our green homes cashback schemes to give homeowners and installers more time to complete their heat pump projects. Not only will participants enjoy the benefits of an Aquarea Air Source heat pump, but as long as they satisfy the scheme criteria, they will also be able to access this cashback.  These Green Homes cashback schemes are straightforward for installers and homeowners to claim, saving both time and money, whilst installers also benefit from extensive resources through the PRO Club platform.”

Both the above Panasonic Green Cashback Schemes are available throughout the UK and claims can be submitted regardless as to whether participants have claimed any government incentives.

Installers can further benefit from using the Panasonic Service Cloud to enable remote maintenance and monitoring of the Aquarea units which provides: an error log history, a global view at a glance, full unit information, statistics on usage plus lots more useful information.

In addition to cashback, participating installers have access to a range of additional benefits.  Becoming a Panasonic PRO Partner is free and offers a host of tools. PRO Partners are listed on the Panasonic i-finder, giving installers more visibility and allowing potential customers to find and contact them with ease. Participating installers will be able to offer their customers extended warranty terms and conditions on the heat pumps they install, gain access to the latest marketing material, installation support software and notified of any upcoming training courses.

Installers will further benefit from Panasonic’s free training programmes.

Installers should note that to be eligible for the Green Install Cashback scheme, the installer must have completed the Panasonic Accredited Aquarea Training historically, or within the scheme dates – there are plenty of additional training dates available during the qualifying period. The five Aquarea units must have been purchased through an authorised Panasonic Distributor and installed between 1 October 2020 and 30 June 2021 and submitted to the Panasonic claim portal by 31 July 2021. Each Aquarea unit installed must also include a CZ-TAW1 controller and be connected to the cloud. Only one claim can be submitted per installation company.
