A functional and aesthetic facade for a multi-storey car park

To alleviate the traffic problems at Herlev Hospital in Denmark, a multi-storey car park has been constructed with more than 500 parking spaces, primarily for hospital staff.

The facade of the car park has been constructed from more than 3000m² of expanded metal, manufactured and supplied by RMIG. The expanded metal has been anodised and with its dark bronze nuance, fits in well with the surrounding hospital buildings. The panels have been staggered to create a variation on the facade.
