Roan appoints first compliance manager

The fastest-growing offsite build specialist, Roan Building Solutions, has appointed its first compliance manager.  Jeremy Waddell joins from Harsco where he was senior operations manager responsible for a 184-man team, overseeing substantial contracts.  Previously Jeremy managed a hire and sale fleet of 800 cabins and modular buildings.

He also served for over 22 years in HM forces including two years as a regimental sergeant major before embarking on a career in construction.

A seasoned project manager, Jeremy has extensive knowledge of health and safety procedures, contracts, partnering with sub-contractors and ensuring all business activities are carried out within regulatory frameworks.

Jeremy’s appointment is the first of many for Roan as it continues to expand its reach across a range of sectors as Matt Goff, director at Roan Building Solutions, explains:

“Jeremy will ensure our policies and procedures remain strong and consistent as we grow.  The rail, education and health sectors are all reaping the benefits of modular construction – speedier than traditional build without compromising quality.  We need to ensure we continue to deliver excellence time after time and that means dotting every ‘i’ and crossing every ‘t’.”
