North East Working Men’s Club protected from winter chill with BoilerMag XL

Newbottle Working Men’s Club have had their heating systems protected ahead of the winter months with the help of Enright Environmental Ltd. and BoilerMag.

The Grade II listed building, originally known as the Mansion House, was built in the mid-19th century in Houghton le Spring, Sunderland, and had been experiencing poor circulation and leaks in the plumbing prior to their system update.

Experienced building services engineers Enright Environmental Ltd. installed new pumps and redesigned the pipework in the plant room to include a BoilerMag XL protecting the boilers from the years of sludge already in the system.

The BoilerMag XL magnetic filter is ideal for medium-sized commercial properties and prevents the build-up of ferrous oxide and scale in central heating systems, reducing energy bills and increasing boiler life. With its dual flow technology, the XL ensures that virtually 100% of unwanted debris is removed from the system, not just ferrous materials.

Having used the products previously, the engineers are not only confident of the capabilities of the BoilerMag to improve the system at Newbottle Club, but also now offer the filters as standard when working on heating systems throughout the North East.

Adrian Mills of Enright Environmental Ltd. said:

“We are a small company dealing in all aspects of non-domestic heating and ventilation in properties from pubs, clubs and hotels to offices and factories as well as churches etc. We use BoilerMag filters as they are competitively priced and easy to fit.”

“We have fitted a lot of filters and we don’t really have a lot of problem convincing the customer to use them as most people have had experience of the black water that is associated with heating systems.”

“They are so easy to fit into any system and for the relatively small additional cost they can make a huge difference to the efficiency of the heating eventually paying for itself.”
