BRAND new family homes with a nod to classical architectural styles are now on sale in Harrogate.
Redrow’s hotly-anticipated new venture, Devonshire Gardens on Claro Road, will eventually comprise two complementary property styles – The Regent Collection, inspired by elegant Georgian architecture, and The Heritage Collection, characterised by Arts and Crafts features. And with nearly £750,000 pledged to the local community as part of the planning agreement, it’s not just Redrow customers that will benefit from the brand new homes.
The first homes will hail from the Regent Collection. Inside, each home will boast a contemporary interior with high quality fixtures and fittings.
A choice of three, four and five-bedroom, three-storey townhouses including semi-detached designs will feature in the first phase followed by a selection of one and two bedroom apartments.
Out of the 126 homes planned for the venture, 82 will hail from the Regent Collection. Sales for the first releases have now begun and showhomes will be open to visitors in the winter. However, those who can’t wait that long can visit Redrow’s Southbank venture, near Boston Spa, for a sneak preview of similar style homes.
Next year, homes from Redrow’s award-winning Heritage Collection, which marries Arts & Crafts-style exteriors with contemporary 21st century interiors will join the properties on offer.
Patsy Aicken, sales director for Redrow Homes (Yorkshire), said:
“We’re very excited about this development, which will bring a wide choice of brand new traditionally styled homes to beautiful Harrogate with two classic architectural styles.”
“The whole area is set to benefit from Redrow’s Harrogate presence as we’ve pledged contributions worth nearly £750,000 which will cover education, highways and provisions for public open spaces as part of the planning process.”
Voted ‘Happiest Place to Live’ by Rightmove in 2013 and 2014, the historic city of Harrogate has a lot to offer homebuyers with excellent transport links and plenty of good schools nearby.
