New Managing Director for Kier Living

Nick Moore has been appointed managing director of Kier Living (Eastern) following Kier Group’s decision to create a unified housing division. He was previously deputy MD of Kier Homes, which is based in Sandy, Bedfordshire.

With 29 years’ experience in the industry, Nick has an excellent track record in development having worked for clients, contractors and developers. A quantity surveyor, Nick Moore has been with Kier since 2009 having previously worked for companies including Taylor Wimpey and Rialto Homes.

Kier Group has consolidated its contract, affordable and private housing divisions to create Kier Living.

Nick, 46, said:

“Kier Homes has had an excellent year for sales and received recognition with several industry awards and I am excited about building on that momentum with Kier Living to capitalise on the growing optimism within the market.”

The new man at the helm of Kier Living (Eastern) has spoken of his excitement at Kier’s decision to create a unified housing division.

After 29 years’ experience in the industry, most recently as deputy managing director of Kier Homes, Nick Moore has been promoted to managing director of Kier Living (Eastern). He said by consolidating its contract, affordable and private housing divisions the Group had greatly strengthened its offering.

“Kier Living (Eastern) will continue to focus on private market housing while also bringing the three strands of its housing business together which means we have an even better offering for the market in so many ways. There is an impressive, broad range of experience within the new Kier Living and that is one of the aspects which has really strengthened the business,”

A quantity surveyor by background, Nick Moore has been with Kier since 2009 having previously worked for companies including Taylor Wimpey and Rialto Homes.
