New homes coming soon to sought after Cheshire market town

Homebuyers in Sandbach won’t have long to wait before a new collection of homes goes on sale in the town.

Redrow Homes and Anwyl Homes are helping to create the first phase of a new community at Abbeyfields, off Middlewich Road.

 A joint development between the two award winning builders, the new development will comprise a total of 144 homes, in a choice of two, three and four-bedroom designs, on former farmland creating a charming semi-rural new development.

 Show homes and marketing suites are set to open at the venture in May and homebuyers are being urged to register their interest now.

A community park will also form part of the first stage of the development, which will include a children’s play area. 

As part of the section 106 agreement, Redrow and Anwyl will each provide 30 per cent affordable homes at the location and also contribute significant funds for the benefit of the local community.

 These include more than £385,000 towards education, a £60,000 contribution towards improvement’s at the M6 junction, £10,000 for railways, £5,000 towards a local travel plan and £2,400 towards tree-planting, all split equally between Anwyl and Redrow.
