New homes bring benefits to Sileby

A new 134-home development which has brought significant investment to Sileby is now complete, with all the homes there now reserved.

Seagrave Park, off Seagrave Road in the village, has provided a range of four and five-bedroom houses to meet the growing demand for homes in this part of Leicestershire. The Bellway development also features an unusually large area of public open space running down to Sileby Brook, which will include ponds and a very well-equipped children’s play area.

The development includes 31 affordable homes for local people and also brought with it a major contribution to Highgate Community Primary School, including funds towards a new playing field and a new paved playground.

Bellway East Midlands Sales Director Carolyne Watkinson said: “It is always a satisfying moment when a development comes to an end and all the houses have been reserved, and Seagrave Park is no exception.

“We are so pleased that so many buyers have found their ideal home here.

“The popularity of the new homes at the development is testament to the strength of the Leicestershire housing market, where demand continues to grow.

“As a local housebuilder, we are also delighted to be investing in the local community, as the new open space and facilities provided as part of the planning agreement will benefits residents old and new for many years to come.”

Although the new homes at Sileby are now sold out, Bellway East Midlands is building at other developments across Leicestershire, at Scraptoft, Stoney Stanton, Donisthorpe, Heather and Frisby-on-the-Wreake.
