New head of innovation for Murphy

Former Crossrail innovation programme manager Will Reddaway has been appointed as head of innovation at Murphy.

Will is responsible for working across the company’s various businesses to deliver the business’ innovation strategy, in line with the objectives of Murphy’s ten-year plan.

Will was heavily involved in Crossrail’s award-winning innovation program, Innovate18, and its next evolution, the Industry Innovation Programme (I3P).

He says:

“Murphy has an excellent reputation and I’m excited to be part of the team. I look forward to working with all the teams to bring Murphy’s innovation capability back to life”.

Will reports to engineering director, Alastair Smyth, who says:

“Will’s exposure to cutting edge innovation at Crossrail made him the ideal fit for this role. I look forward to supporting Will as we seek to embed a culture of creativity and innovation to improve how we deliver our projects through new technologies and products, and by improving our systems and processes.”
