Jones Bros Civil Engineering UK has announced three new senior appointments.
Hefin Lloyd-Davies has been appointed regional manager for north Wales and the north west of England, and Garod Evans and Eryl Roberts have been appointed major projects managers.
The three senior managers, who have long-standing careers at Jones Bros, have an impressive track record of leading on multi-million pounds projects in the renewables, highways, marine and land remediation sectors.
Hefin will have responsibility for the management and performance of all projects within his designated region. Garod and Eryl will have responsibility for specialist individual projects, such as the construction of the 76-turbine Pen y Cymoedd Wind Energy Project and Clyde Wind Farm, a 54-turbine wind farm in Scotland.
Eryl, of Derwen, near Ruthin, joined Jones Bros in 2000 after studying at Yale College in Wrexham. He has since led on many major construction projects including the 60-turbine Crystal Rig II wind farm in the Scottish borders, one of the largest wind farm projects in the UK.
Garod Evans, of Rhosesmor, joined Jones Bros as project manager in 2010 managing a range of projects including the recently completed Mill Hill wind farm in Scotland, Sixpenny Wood wind farm in Yorkshire and work at Wylfa Power Station, north Wales. A member of the Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation, Garod is working towards chartered membership of the Institution of Civil Engineers.
Hefin Lloyd-Davies, of Betws Gwerfil Goch, joined Jones Bros 23 years ago as a trainee civil engineer and highlights of his varied career include being appointed deputy partnership manager on the £35 million Porthmadog bypass scheme. A keen rally driver, Hefin regularly takes part in the Wales GB National Three Day event.
The trio join Jones Bros’ four existing regional managers, Neil Beresford, Geraint Thomas, Patrick Bailey and Mike O’Connor, in managing major, high profile schemes.

Founded in the 1950s and employing almost 300 people, Jones Bros has grown rapidly in the last decade. It is currently working on contracts in various sectors including the construction of waste management facilities, highways, flood and marine defence and renewable energy projects around the UK.
