Family friendly homes coming soon to Tamworth

With a choice of primary schools within walking distance, new homes in Tamworth are sure to appeal to buyers with children.

Pennine Grange is the latest offering from an award-winning homebuilder. Located on Pennine Way, the development is especially ‘close to home’ for Redrow as it’s visible from the company’s divisional headquarters at Kinsall Green.

The launch has been eagerly anticipated by prospective purchasers and to satisfy demand the first properties are being released for sale ‘off plan’ this weekend (June 13/14).

Pauline Turnbull, sales director for Redrow Homes (Midlands), says:

“We’ve amassed a substantial database of people who are keen to call Pennine Grange ‘home’ and due to the volume of enquiries we’ve received we’ve decided to release properties for sale early, enabling buyers to take advantage of pre-showhome prices.”

Pennine Grange will offer 66 homes for private sale in a choice of three and four-bedroom designs from the sought-after Heritage Collection. Inspired by the architecture of the Arts & Crafts era, the properties will look traditional from the outside. Inside, however, they will boat high specification modern interiors including well equipped kitchens and stylish bathrooms and en-suites.

“Our Heritage Collection homes are full of family friendly features designed to meet the demands of today’s busy lifestyles,” Pauline adds.

“For example kitchen cabinets and drawers have soft close finishes to prevent little fingers getting trapped; while the en-suite to master bedroom and convenient downstairs cloakroom will help alleviate the morning rush for the family bathroom.”

The development will include 28 affordable homes. Redrow has also agreed to make community contributions totalling £350,000 including investment in education, travel and public open space.

“Pennine Grange is perfectly placed for buyers with children as there are two primary schools within walking distance,” Pauline explains.

“There’s a newsagent, convenience store and post office nearby and Tamworth town centre, home to a regular market and high street stores, is about three miles away. Those who want to indulge in some more serious retail therapy can hop on the train at Wilnecote and be in Birmingham in under 20 minutes.”
