Digital marketing expert to speak at Marketing in Construction Summit

A leading digital marketing expert is among several business leaders who will be delivering seminars at the Marketing in Construction Summit in London on February 7th.

Jess Shailes, Managing Director and Head of Digital Marketing at The Ideal Marketing Company will deliver a seminar on ‘How to Measure Marketing Success with Google Analytics’ at the event which will be held at The Building Centre in London’s West End.

Delegates at the summit will include business owners, managers and marketers with a remit for marketing in the construction sector. Jess’s seminar will explain proven strategies that enable organisations involved in construction to interpret, measure and demonstrate the value of digital marketing activity in order to help their business grow.

The seminar will cover a range of areas around business goals, KPIs and optimising Google Analytics.

“The Marketing in Construction Summit is a great opportunity to share ways to interpret and manipulate data using free, widely-used tools” comments Jess. “The aim of the seminar is to give delegates a clear action plan to measure and demonstrate success in their marketing-based roles within the construction industry.”

Jess Shailes has headed up digital marketing at The Ideal Marketing Company for over 5 years and has over a decade’s experience in the ever-evolving world of digital marketing, during which time it has grown from an experimental tool to a key marketing strategy for most businesses in the construction industry.

She has also recently taken on the role of Managing Director at The Ideal Marketing Company which has worked with organisations across a range of industries including building and construction since 2003.

Jess uses her expertise to help clients implement the right digital marketing strategy to generate more enquiries, convert more sales and ultimately retain more customers.

“Learning tangible ways to measure digital marketing success is a particularly useful skill within the construction industry where marketing professionals are often under intense pressure to provide proof of the value of marketing activities they engage in,” adds Jess. “As marketing professionals, we know that good marketing is crucial to the success of a business, however without proof that it’s good, it can be hard to get the buy-in or budget at board level.”

The Marketing in Construction Summit is an annual networking and learning event organised by UK Construction Week, the UK’s largest built environment trade show. The summit is designed to empower construction companies to build their brand and promote best practice within the industry.
