CMOStores.com supports Green Homes Grant Scheme

Following the official launch of the Government’s new Green Homes Grant initiative, tradespeople and homeowners taking part in the scheme will be able to hit the ground running with the help of online construction products merchant CMOStores.com.

Offering an extensive product range which includes solutions to help both insulate and reduce the carbon footprint of a property, CMO will be supporting the new scheme alongside the Builders Merchants Federation (BMF) who, in partnership with Trustmark, is helping to create a reliable and high-quality supply chain. Tradespeople and companies that hold the TrustMark standard will be able carry out work under the Green Homes Grant banner which will see the government provide vouchers to subsidise various home improvement projects to help boost energy-efficiency in eligible properties across the UK.

One of the main areas that the Green Homes Grant hopes to promote is the installation of various types of insulation, from solid and cavity wall to under floor and loft. Secondary measures, such as draught proofing and replacement doors and windows are also covered. A full range of solutions are available via CMO’s dedicated e-commerce sites, which include Insulation Superstore, Roofing Superstore and Drainage Superstore, as well as CMOTrade.co.uk and the merchant is confident that its intuitive online service will help streamline and simplify the product selection process for its trade users.

With materials available to view and order around the clock, CMO’s extensive product offering is supported with access to expert guidance via the company’s dedicated customer support teams, including the option for online chat and phone consultation, as well as a whole host of useful articles in the new help and advice sections. CMO’s six dedicated web ‘superstores’ also offer trade customers the speed and convenience of ordering online, with the company recently reporting a uplift in profits for the first part of 2020 despite the disruption caused by the recent global pandemic.
