CBRE Aberdeen set to move to 1 Albyn Terrace

Leading International Property Consultants Acquire New West End Office to Accommodate Business Expansion.

CBRE has announced today it is set to move its Aberdeen operation to new larger premises having acquired a 3,250 sq ft office in the heart of the west end business district of the city.

The property consultants’ new office, situated at 1 Albyn Terrace, is located on the first floor of an architecturally impressive granite building overlooking Queens Terrace Gardens.

Commenting on the move, managing director Derren McRae said:

“CBRE has continued to go from strength to strength in Aberdeen in recent years and despite only moving offices in 2012, we have outgrown our current premises. Having bolstered our Agency, Building Consultancy and Asset Services service lines with new recruits, we are delighted to have secured a new office to accommodate both current and future business growth.

“Our new office at 1 Albyn Terrace provides us with what is a rare commodity amongst the traditional granite buildings in the west end – a fully open plan office with a flexible floorplate, allowing for increased collaboration and interaction between our teams.

“For clients we will provide enhanced meeting facilities with high-speed wi-fi and a coffee bar. There will be an open invitation to drop in to meet up with the team whilst enjoying the views from the office.”

CBRE’s Building Consultancy team has been appointed to design and project manage the makeover, with the firm planning to take occupancy in October this year.

The firm has committed to a new 10 year lease, with break option in year five, from the landlord Andrew’s Homes (Aberdeen) Ltd.
