Boutique developer launches contemporary living developments in Eastcote

Boutique developer Life Less Ordinary has further demonstrated its confidence in the North West London suburb of Eastcote with the launch of two new contemporary developments that are anticipated to appeal particularly to first-time buyers for whom the eclectic mix of cafes, brunch spots and restaurants combined with the enviable commuter links will particularly appeal.

The Malt Works is a collection of 56 one- and two-bedroom contemporary apartments 47 of which are being developed from an existing commercial office building through the utilisation of a permitted development right.  These are being complimented by nine penthouses which boast expansive private terraces and excellent views that are capitalising on the unused airspace above the existing commercial building.  All properties will be available with Help to Buy.

Taking inspiration from neighbouring architecture, the façade of Malt Works is finished in Britain’s famous red brick to provide a traditional meets contemporary feel.  Floor-to-ceiling windows and doors, meanwhile, maximise the flow of natural light and the apartments, which are designed to maximise space, range in size from 387 to 775 sq ft.

The apartments feature Life Less Ordinary’s synonymous contemporary specification centred around open-plan living spaces that boast premium German Häcker kitchens complete with Bosch appliances and Crosswater bathrooms, finished in grey porcelain tiles.  Many of the two-bedroom apartments also feature en suites to the master bedrooms and oversized, walk-in showers.

Life Less Ordinary has also recently launched Solis Mews off plan and already over 50% of the development has been reserved.  A boutique collection of 10 two-bedroom mews houses with a high specification throughout, each boasts its own private entrance, parking and open plan living, kitchen and dining room.

Commenting on the increasing popularity of Eastcote, Hinesh Chawda, co-founder at Life Less Ordinary, said: “This area not only offers first time buyers a rich array of cafes, restaurants and bars, but also close proximity to both Ruislip Lido with its 60-acre lake and beach and also Colne Valley Regional Park.  Importantly, both developments are ideally located just moments from Eastcote Underground Station which provides journeys to Baker Street and Heathrow in under 30 minutes.  The nearby A40, meanwhile, provides easy connections to both the M40 and M25.

“We have thoughtfully designed these homes to offer residents the very best outer London living experience and believe that by pushing the boundaries for developments of this type, we are catering perfectly for a young and growing market of first-time buyers in the wider local area.”

The show home at Malt Works will be launched on Saturday 19th September, by appointment only.  Prices start from £315,000 for a one bed, and £375,000 for a two bed.  Prices at Solis Mews start from £470,000.  Both are available to purchase through Help to Buy with completion expected in January 2021.
