Affordable heating solutions from Valor and Robinson Willey

Valor and Robinson Willey will be joining forces at CIH Housing 2014 (stand D8) to display their impressive portfolio of energy efficient fires, suites and surrounds for the social housing sector.

As two of the leading brands in the fires market, Valor and Robinson Willey will be focusing on ‘affordable heating solutions,’ exhibiting a selection of electric and gas fires designed to minimise energy consumption and running costs. Highlights include Valor’s Ecolite electric suites and fires, the Robinson Willey KLX range of electric suites, and economical radiant gas fires from both brands.

Tracey Falshaw, product marketing manager, said:

“Our products are specifically designed to meet the demands of the social housing sector, combining the highest possible safety standards with tangible cost savings for the user.

“Energy efficiency is key for any housing provider and this will be a fantastic chance to see how our affordable heating solutions can help organisations to reach their sustainability targets, whilst also reducing heating bills and easing fuel poverty for their residents.”

Safety and efficiency

The star of the show will be Valor’s Ecolite range of electric suites and fires, offering a host of safety and efficiency features required for social housing specification such as top positioned side switch control, thermostat and safety cut out, LED lights, one-piece fuel beds and kettle leads.

Valor will also be exhibiting its stylish wall-hung Aspire and Enchant electric fires, designed for wall mounting or recessed fitting where space is at a premium.

Robinson Willey will be showcasing a range of KLX low cost electric suites. Comprising three models – Roma, Sorrento and Torino – the new KLX suites have been designed to capitalise on the need for affordable heating solutions and bring added choice and versatility to RW’s premier prortfolio.

Like all electric fires in the Valor and Robinson Willey range, the products on display are 100% efficient at the point of use and no chimney or flue is required, offering quick, simple and low-cost installation. For added peace of mind, they come with BEAB and CE approval to ensure the highest possible safety standards.

Fighting fuel poverty

Despite a surge in electric fires in recent years, gas remains the cheapest fuel to run and so gas fires remain the number one choice for homes. Combined with high heat efficiencies and low running costs, today’s gas fires offer affordable warmth, visual comfort and are a powerful weapon in the fight against fuel poverty.

Both brands will also be showcasing a product from their radiant gas fire collections, which boast the lowest running costs of any gas fire type and deliver up to 89% efficiency for the ultimate in heat performance and efficient operation.
