Make, Sir John Soane’s Museum and the World Architecture Festival have come together once again to celebrate the very best in architectural drawing. The Architecture Drawing Prize recognises the continuing importance of hand drawing whilst embracing the creative use of digitally produced renderings.
The Architecture Drawing Prize welcomes entries from architects, designers and students from around the world while celebrating drawing’s significance as a tool in capturing and communicating ideas. This year’s judges include Foster + Partners, Narinder Sagoo; Ben Langlands and Nikki Bell, Langlands & Bell; Make’s Ken Shuttlewoth and Sir John Soane’s, Owen Hopkins. Entry deadline: 7th September 2018.
The shortlisted drawings will be featured in an exclusive exhibition held at the Sir John Soane’s Museum in London from 17th October to 18th November.
The overall and category winners will be also be announced at the end of the exhibition at the Sir John Soane Museum before the drawings are transported for a feature exhibition and winners presentations at the World Architecture Festival
The overall winner will receive a WAF delegate pass, and will have travel and two hotel nights paid
The other two category winners will each receive a complementary delegate pass and two hotel nights
