Alumno Developments is making proposals to redevelop the vacant site next to Norwich Bus Station for student accommodation. We would like to hear your views before submitting a planning application to Norwich City Council. We will be accepting public comments up until 6th May.

This website provides more information and contact details to provide feedback.

What’s Proposed?

  • Around 220 rooms and management facilities
  • Car free student housing in a city centre location next to the bus station
  • Renovating 50 All Saints Green (a Grade II listed building)
  • Demolishing 52 & 54 All Saints Green creating a new public space or ‘square’ with landscaping and plants

The site faces the bus station, YMCA, Queens Road and All Saints Green. It is also adjacent to Ivory House, a Grade II listed building. It is an ideal location for student housing, in easy walking distance of the Norwich University of the Arts (12 minutes) and a 12 minute bus journey or short cycle ride from the University of East Anglia (UEA). Regular buses run from the adjacent Bus Station to the UEA Campus.

Accommodation

Accommodation is located on the ground floor and upper levels. The majority of bedrooms will be in self-contained cluster flats with six ensuite bedrooms with a kitchen/lounge. There are also a small number of self-contained studios. The management office, and reception are located on the ground floor, whilst the common room and other associated amenities are located around the building.
